Spencer spencerfamily at eircom.net Photos ----------------------------------------------- RATHMICHAEL BURIAL GROUND, (OLD CEMETERY), COUNTY DUBLIN, IRELAND A Notice on the Ruin reads: - The first church on the site is reputed to have been founded by St. Comgall of Bangor, but the present ruin dates from the mediaeval period, though probably incorporating stones of an earlier church. Attached to the exterior walls of the building are a number of early Christian Graveslabs and a cross. Nearby is the stump of a Round Tower. Still surviving is a part of the old cashel wall which once surrounded the monastery.
