Elected Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland
1911. | 'His name will long be held in affectionate
remembrance by the | Parishioners of Holywood where
he laboured so faithfully as Vicar; | esteemed and
beloved by all who knew him'. | "Blessed are the Dead
which die in the Lord". Base:-  Erected by the
Parishioners of Holywood 1922.

THOMAS VALENTINE PLAISTED McCAMMON, | who died
on 28th April 1917. | Of wounds received in Action at
Monchy | Le Preux. | This Tablet is erected by his
brother Officers | of the 20th Battalion Royal Irish Rifles
| which he raised and commanded during the Great War
. | In remembrance of a gallant Soldier | and a true
friend.

VIOLET and JOHN DUNVILLE of Redburn, Holywood. |
Born May 7th 1896. Died in France June 26th 1917 | of
wounds received In Action on the previous day | aged
21 years. | (N.B. Here follows details of the
circumstances this young man was awarded the Victory
Cross for his bravery in the field of battle.  We also have
details of the letter written by the Commander of the
Royal Dragoons to his parents.)

widow and children.

Battalion Royal Dublin Fushiers, | killed in Action on
April 25. 1915 | during the Landing at Gallipoli aged 26 |
