I Charles Maughan of the City of Londonderry in Ireland
being on a Journey  in England & now at Sheffield in the
County of York in the United Kingdom of  Great Britain &
Ireland & being suddenly indisposed yet being of sound
mind  memory & understanding do make & publish this
my last Will & Testament of &  concerning my worldly
Estate & if it should please God that I should depart  this
life before I leave England I desire to be interred in a
private manner  in the Burial Ground in the said County
of York near the body of my late  Cousin George Gooch
Esqr deceased and I give & devise unto my dear & loving
wife Mrs Ann Maughan her Heirs & Assigns for ever all &
Singular my Real  Estate of what nature or kind soever &
wheresoever whether in possession  Reversion
Remainder or Expectancy And I give & bequeath unto my
friend John Hall of Staveley in the County of Darby in
England Esqr the Sum of Twenty  pounds I also I give &
bequeath unto my friend Earnest Haslie of London  Derry
aford Esqy my fowling Pieces Dogs fishing Rods & all
other things appertaining to Shooting angling & fishing I
also I give & bequeath unto my  friend Francis Milner of
Rotherthorpe in the parish of Staveley aford Esqr  the
Sum of Twenty pounds All the rest residue & remainder
of my personal Estate & Effects of what nature or kind
soever & wheresoever the same may be  at the time of
my decease I give & bequeath unto my said dear Wife
Ann her Exors & Admors for ever subject nevertheless to
the payment of all & every  my just Debts & all Expences
Costs & Charges that my said Executors may be  put unto
& about the Execution of this my Will & for their loss of
time and  trouble in & about the same and I do hereby
ordain nominate & appoint Thomas  Scott of
Londonderry aford Esqr & the said Francis Milner
Executors of this  my last Will & Testament hereby
revoking all former & other Wills heretofore  made In
Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal this
Sixth day of  April in the year of our Lord One thousand
Eight hundred & Eight Charles  Maughan
