HERE LYETH THE BODY OF MARGRET LENNOX
WIFE TO HUMPHRY LENNOX WHO DEPARTED
THIS  LIFE THE 28TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER 1698 -
LIKEWISE THE BODY OF ELIZABETH LENNOX
..TH ... LENNOX CHILDREN OF ALDER'M JAMES
LENNOX OF THIS CITY  ANNO DOM.. 17..

Underneath is the body of Ald'r James Lennox Merchant
of this Citty (sic) who  served as Mayor and Member of
Parliament for some time for the same.  Well known and
esteemed for his Generosity  and usefulness in it, Who
departed this life  August 4th, 1728 aged 71 years.  Also
the body of Eliz'th his wife who dyed the 30th of August
1731 Aged 67 years Also the body of John Lennox Esq.
son to the above James and Eliz'th Who died 10 day of
November [No Yr shown] aged 26 years. Also the body
[of] Bridget his wife  [Noted by Mrs. Long: 'Last line
illegible']

Here lyeth the body of Alder'n Eadie who departed this
life December the 17th day 1697 in the 50th year of his
Age.  Also the body of Ann Eadie his wife daughter of
Alder'n Osborn of this City who departed this life the 4th
day of July 1725 in the 69th year of her age,  Also Willie
their son who departed this life the 26th day of August
1708 in 26th year of age.  Also Martha his daughter wife
of John Stevenson Surgeon.

 Here lyeth Sarah wife of ThomaS Moncrieffe and
daughter of Samuel Leeson Alderman and  Justice of the
Peace of this City ... She died th 23rd day of July 1755
aged 68 years. Her children are all interred within this
Church.

OF THIS CITTY (sic) MERCH'T AND DAUGHTER TO
ALDERMAN BROOKES MERCH'T AND SOME
TYME (sic) MAYOR OF THIS CITTY WHO
DEPARTED THIS LIFE TH 6TH OF AUGUST 1709
AND IN THE 26TH YEAR OF HER AGE.   AND ALSO
JEAN DAUGHTER TO THE SAID ALEXANDER
AND ELIZABETH WHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE  THE
8 MARCH 1707 AGED 10 DAYS  ALSO THE BODY
OF MARY NIECE TO THE SAID ALEXANDER
VANCE WHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE DEC 1717  THE
BODY OF THE ABOVE ALEXANDER WHO
DEPARTED THIS LIFE 1738 AGED -- YEARS

MAYOR OF THIS  CITY AND DAUGHTER OF
WILLIAM KYLE MERCHANT AND BURGESS OF
THIS CORPORATION WHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE
THE 23RD DAY OF DECEMBER ANNO DOMINI
1718 IN THE 64TH YEAR OF HER AGE  ALSO THE
BODY OF THE ABOVE SAID EDWARD BROOKES
WHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE 6TH OF SEP'r
1725 AGED 78 YEARS.

body of his wife Martha who departed this life the 4th day
of November 1721 & in the 55th year of her age and the
body of  Patrick Mackey who departed this life the 3rd of
September 1725 of his age 30 years. [Transcriber's Note:
It is possible on this last one that the surname could be
MACKEY]
