In the Name of God Amen I Joseph O'Brien Esquire of the City 
of Cork Lieutenant on His Majestys Royal Navy being rather 
weak in body but of perfectly sound and disposing mind 
memory and understanding do make this as and for my last 
Will and Testament I leave and bequeath unto my dearly 
beloved wife Sophia O'Brien otherwise McNamara all my 
household furniture Plate linen ware also my Horse and all 
other property of what nature kind or description whatsoever 
which I shall die seized possessed of or entitled unto to 
and for the sole and only use benefit and behoof of my said 
dear wife herself and I nominate constitute and appoint my 
said dear wife sole Executrix of this my will and I nominate 
and appoint her and Thomas Cuthbert and John Cuthbert of the 
City of Cork Esquires Guardians of my son Michael Daniel 
O'Brien during his minority witness my hand and seal this 
sixteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand 
eight hundred and nineteen Joseph O'Brien
