In the Name of God Amen I Bridget Molloney of farside in the 
County of Cork Spinster being of sound mind memory and 
understanding do hereby make this my last Will and Testament 
hereby revoking annulling and making void all and other Will 
and Wills by me at any time heretofore made I give devise 
and bequeath unto my Cousin Thomas Sisk of Ballykenefisk in 
the County of Cork the sum of one thousand pounds st I give 
devise and bequeath unto Michael Sisk Son of the aforesaid 
Thomas one thousand pounds st I give devise and bequeath 
unto my Cousin David Sisk of Ballykenefisk nine hundred 
pounds st and to his daughter Catherine Parker alias Sisk 
one hundred pounds St I give devise and bequeath unto my 
Cousin Ellen Sisk of Ballyfenefisk three hundred pounds st I 
give devise and bequeath unto my Cousin Michael Viner of 
Leddington four hundred pounds I give devise and bequeath 
unto Richard Tiner of Templeboden Three hundred pounds st I 
give devise and bequeath unto my Cousin Daniel Cove Slater 
three hundred pounds st I give devise and bequeath unto Mary 
Brien of Cork Wife of Mr Maurice Brien four hundred pounds 
st and to Honora Brien daughter of said Maurice and Mary one 
hundred pounds st I give devise and bequeath unto my Cousin 
Honora Tiner the infant daughter of the late Jonas Tiner 
deceased two hundred pounds st same to be placed at Interest 
for her until she shall attain her age of twenty one years 
or day of Marriage whichever shall first happen I give 
devise and bequeath unto my Cousin Daniel Sisk of Cork 
Cooper five hundred  pounds st I give devise and bequeath 
unto Catherine Fitzgibbon of Cork Widow of the late Michael 
Fitzgibbon deceased one hundred pounds st I give to Honora 
Flyn alias Murphy ten pounds st I give unto Ansty Hurley 
twenty pounds st I give unto Mary Hurley her Mother twenty 
pounds I give unto Ellen Meade daughter of Pat Meade st I 
give unto Ellen McNamara ten pounds st I give unto James 
Walsh Senior of Holly road ten pounds st I give unto 
Catherine Ronayne of farside ten pounds st I give unto 
Catherine Kearney of farside five pounds st I give unto Mrs 
Tracey Widow of James Tracey deceased six pounds st I give 
unto James McNamara ten pounds st I give unto my friend Mary 
Gallwey of Whitewell as a token of my regard fifty pounds st 
I give unto Elizabeth McCarthy of farside thirty pounds st I 
give unto Denis McCarthy of Aghada Road brother to said 
Elizabeth ten pounds st I give to the Society for the 
Propagation of the Roman Catholic faith twenty pounds st to 
be paid to the Treasurer of said Society by my Executors I 
give and bequeath unto my cousin Richard Cunningham fifty 
pounds st I give and bequeath unto my cousin James 
Cunningham fifty pounds st I give and bequeath unto my 
cousin Michael Cunningham fifty pounds st I give and 
bequeath unto my cousin Elizabeth Stanton alias Cunningham 
fifty pounds st I give and bequeath unto my cousin Mr 
McDonnell alias Cunningham one hundred pounds st I give and 
bequeath unto the Poor of the Parish of Saleen the sum of 
fifty pounds st to be given to them according to the verbal 
directions that I shall leave with my Executors or one of 
them I give and bequeath for the use of Saleen Chapel and to 
be expended thereon twenty pounds st I give unto the Revd Mr 
Leaver RCC for Masses ten pounds st I give and bequeath unto 
the Revd Daniel Mr Sweeney as a token of my regard one 
hundred pounds I give and bequeath unto Revd Mr McDonnell 
p.p. of Aghada twenty pounds st for Masses I give and 
bequeath the sum of fifty pounds to be laid out on a tablet 
to the Memory of my dear Brother Martin Molloney and to 
improve my burial ground at Cork Church yard I give and 
bequeath to Mary Walsh of Knockanemourney ten pounds st I 
give and bequeath unto my Goddaughter Mabel Power wife of 
Pierce Power of Ballymacoda fifty pounds st I give and 
bequeath unto mrs Bridget Bryan alias Cunningham fifty 
pounds st I give and bequeath unto Michael Walsh of 
Knockanemourney ten pounds St I give unto          Hallaran 
of Whitegate a blind Man 5 pounds st I give unto Widow Ellen 
Walsh five pounds st I give to Mary Meade Widow of Patrick 
Meade five pounds st I give devise and bequeath unto my 
Cousin Pierce Fitzgerald of Cork Cooper two hundred pounds I 
give devise and bequeath unto my friend Miss Mary Ann 
Callaghan daughter of Mr Mathias Callaghan of Midleton two 
hundred pounds st I give devise and bequeath unto Thomas 
Sisk Junior of Ballykenefick two hundred pounds I give 
devise and bequeath to my two Executors hereinafter 
mentioned and named the sums of five hundred pounds sterling 
each for their trouble in undertaking the burden and 
execution of this my last Will and Testament I give devise 
and bequeath unto my kind and valued friend Mr Mathias 
Callaghan of Midleton the sum of one thousand pounds st 
(exclusive of and in addition to any legacy devise or 
bequest which he may get or be entitled to as an Executor to 
this my last Will and Testament) for the benefit of his 
children I give devise and bequeath the sum of five hundred 
pounds sterling to be placed in the funds or other solvent 
security and the yearly interest or produce thereof to be 
yearly and every year for ever given to the poor of the 
parish of Saleen and to be distributed by the parish priest 
of said parish for the time being as he shall think proper 
he always however giving a preference to the poor 
housekeepers of the farside district I give unto James Walsh 
Junior of Holly Road ten pounds I give and bequeath unto Mrs 
Elizabeth Dorgan Wife of Patrick Dorgan of farside Carpenter 
fifty pounds st I give to the Revd Mr Payton for Masses ten 
pounds st I give and bequeath unto Catherine Loughlin 
daughter of John Loughlin thirty pounds st I give and 
bequeath unto Anstice Loughlin her Sister thirty pounds st I 
give and bequeath to the Nuns in the Midleton Convent twenty 
pounds st to be disposed of by them as they please I give 
and bequeath to the children of Nicholas Walsh by his 
Marriage with the Sister of Mr McDonnell my Cousin fifty 
pounds I give and bequeath unto my Cousin Widow Molloney 
Sister of said Mr McDonnell fifty pounds st I give and 
bequeath unto Denis Sisk son of said David Sisk one hundred 
pounds St I give and bequeath the sum of thirty pounds st 
for the poor of the parish of Aghada and Whitegate And I do 
hereby nominate constitute and appoint my aforesaid kind and 
valued friend Mr Mathias Callaghan of Midleton and his 
eldest son John Callaghan Executors and Trustees and 
Residuary legatees to this my last Will and Testament and 
hereby order and direct them as soon as practicable after my 
decease to possess themselves of all my real and personal 
Estate and property of whatever the same may consist at the 
time of my decease and whether in possession reversion 
remainder or expectancy or over which I have the disposing 
power and thereout and therewith to pay off and discharge 
and carry into execution the several legacies devises and 
bequests mentioned and contained in this my last Will and 
Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and 
affixed my seal this fifteenth day of May one thousand eight 
hundred and forty two Bridget Mollony
