In the Name of God Amen I Thomas McCann born in the Rock at 
the County of Cork Ireland belonging to his Majesty's Ship 
Daigeminse being of sound and disposing mind and memory doth 
make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form 
following that is to say first and principally I commend my 
Soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it me and my 
Body to the Earth or Water as the Lord shall so order it in 
hopes of a joyful Resurrection at the last Day and as for 
and concerning my Worldly Estates and Effects I give and 
bequeath the same as followeth I give and bequeath unto 
Thomas McCann and Catherine Swiney my Son and Daughter of 
Weavers Alley at the Rock at the County of Cork Ireland 
making them my sole Executors all my wages Pay and Prize 
Money smart Money and all other Monies that now is or 
hereafter may be due to me from the said Ship I also give 
and bequeath unto Samuel Covell and William Major now in his 
Majesty's Naval Hospital Madras all my Cloths wearing 
Apparel Bed and Bedding and all other property whatsoever 
that I may be possessed of about me at the time of my 
decease and I hereby revoke and make void all former Wills 
by me heretofore made and I make and declare this to be my 
last Will and Testament On Testimony of which I have 
hereunto set my hand and Seal in His Majesty's Naval 
Hospital Madrass this Eighth day of September in the Year of 
our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Six Thomas McCann X
