Be it known to all Men that I James Haggarthy of the County 
of Cork in the Kingdom of Ireland Mariner late belonging to 
her Majesty's Ship Essex now belonging to her Majesties Ship 
Bonadventure being very weak in body but of a sound 
disposing mind and memory doe revoke all former Wills and 
Deeds of Gift heretofore made by me and doe make this my 
last Will and Testament as followeth Vizt. After there is 
paid to Mr Daniel Robinson of Greenwich in the County of 
Kent Victualler the sum of Thirty pounds lawfull money of 
Great Britain which I am indebted to him and to Wm Kemp 
Clerk of the Bonadventure One Guinea to buy him a Ring All 
the residue of my Wages or Estate (my wearing Cloaths only 
excepted together with Eight Pounds of lawfull money of 
Great Britain which I give and bequeath to William Day and 
Thomas Neave of the said Ship Mariners in consideration of 
the care pains and trouble they have been at during my 
Sickness) I doe give and bequeath to my three Brothers John 
Edward and Darby Haggarthy of the County of Cork in the 
Kingdom of Ireland Husbandmen the same to be equally shared 
among them And I doe constitute and appoint the said William 
Day whole and sole Executor of this my last Will and 
Testament In Witness whereof I have signed seald and 
publishd the same this Eighth day of February Anno Dom 
1711/12 The Mark of James Haggarthy Being present when this 
was signed seald and deliverd as his last Will and Testament
