In the Name of God Amen I Patrick Duggan late of Lisbon 
Mercht but now of the City of Cork being weak in body but of 
sound mind and memory I leave devise and bequeath unto my 
eldest Daughter Mary Ann Cusson the sum of one thousand 
pounds the same the same to be free from the debts controul 
or intermeddling of her husband to be placed at Interest or 
invested in a purchase for the benefit of her family and to 
be disposed of among them in such shares as she shall 
appoint and in default of such Appointment equally share and 
share alike I leave and bequeath unto my Daughter Ellen 
Mahony twenty pounds for mourning I leave devise and 
bequeath unto my Daughter Catherine two thousand pounds St 
which sum I direct shall be kept at Interest in the hands of 
Richard Power and Co of London until her marriage I Also 
leave unto my said Daughter Mary Ann Cusson the further sum 
of two hundred pounds which is a sum which I direct may be 
paid to said Richd Power & Co a Debt due of Edmond Cusson 
her Husband when said Edmond Cusson shall give a security 
upon his property for said Sum and to go as a Provision for 
my said Daughter in the same manner as the sum of one 
thousand pounds already Provided for her and her family she 
to receive the interest or Produce thereof during her life 
and the Principal or Property to be purchased to go amongst 
her Children And whereas I have last month lent my Son John 
Duggan the sum of five hundred pounds which debt I hereby 
release and acquit him from and in addition thereto I hereby 
leave unto him the sum of One thousand pounds And in case my 
property exceeds the legacies so specifically bequeathed I 
leave the same equally amongst my said Children And I 
appoint my good friend Richard Power a Trustee for my family 
And John Kennedy of the City of Cork Woollen Draper Executor 
of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have 
hereunto set my hand and Seal this first day of April in the 
year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and nineteen
