Cork - Daly, Patrick September 12, 1774 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Cork Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com June 8, 2018, 10:30 am DALY, PATRICK SEPTEMBER 12, 1774 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: September 12, 1774 Recorded: June 8, 2018 In the Name of God Amen I Patrick Daly Seaman belonging to His Majesty's being of a sound disposing Mind and Memory and considering the dangers of the Seas and other uncertainties of this transitory Life do for Avoiding Controversies after my decease make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner ffollowing that is to say first I recommend my Soul to God that gave it And my Body to the Earth or Sea as it shall Please God to order and as for all my Worldly Estate I give bequeath and dispose thereof as followeth that is to say all my wages and Short allowance money due to me Sum and Sums of money Lands and Tenements Goods Chattels and Estate whatsoever as shall be any ways due owing or belonging unto me at the time of my decease I give devise and bequeath the same unto my true and lawful Sister Joanna Glass living at the Cove of Cork and I do hereby nominate and appoint the said Joanna Glass of the place aforementioned my Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and other Wills Testaments and Deeds of Gift and I do ordain and Ratify these presents to stand be for my only last Will and Testament in witness to this my said Will I have set my hand and Seal this twelfth day of September and in the fourteenth year of the Reign of our Sovereign King George the third over Great Britain ffrance and Ireland King Defender of the ffaith and so forth and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy four Patrick Daly X his mark Signed Sealed and Published in the Presence of us Willm Ahern ## Patrick Collins ## Thomas Dunlap 10 October 1775 Administration with Will annexed to James Glass Husband and lawful Attorney to Joanna Glass now residing in the City of Cork in the Kingdom of Ireland Probate of a Will obtained by William Cork having been declared null and void Prob11/1011
