In the Name of God Amen I Timothy Coughlan of No 2076 in the 
B of Captain J G Hyslop's Company 12th Battalion Artillery 
do make this my last Will and Testament in the following 
manner vizt. first I give my Soul to God who gave it me and 
my body to the Earth from when it originated hoping through 
the merits of our Blessed Saviour to meet with a Glorious 
Resurrection Item I give and bequeath to my father Timothy 
Coughlan Cooper Residing in Peacock Lane County Cork Ireland 
and in the case of his death to Margaret Barry daughter of 
Edmund Barry Weaver Residing at the same place my pay 
arrears of Pay Clothing and all sums of money which may 
become due to me from my Entering the Service to the day of 
my death requesting that my just debts and funeral expences 
may be paid given in Secunderabad this 10th day of December 
in the Year of our Lord 1836 being perfectly sound in Mind 
though weak in bodily strength I request that (30) Thirty 
Rupees may be given to Gunner Francis Lonergan of the said
