Additional Comments:
Michael Henry Becher was the son of a clergyman, Michael 
Henry Becher of Clyda House, Kilshannig Co Cork & Susan 
Vowell [born 1797 in Bath to Anglo Irish parents]. He was 
the Minister at Barnoldby-Le-Beck, Lincolnshire & visited 
Australia in 1854-56 as a deputation for the British & 
foreign Bible Society. It was during this time that he 
married & the couple returned to England until 1861. Their 
first 4 children were born in England.
