CONSISTING OF ANOTHER PORTION OF SHANNON-STREET, IN THE TOWN OF BANDON.

22 Thomas HUNTER
Reps of John HUNTER Lease dated 1st August 1825, from Henry Earl of Shannon to John HUNTER for the
Lives of William HUNTER, then aged 20 years; John HUNTER, then aged 19 (?)
years; and Thomas HUNTER, then aged 14 years; and for 21 Years from the death of the
survivor of them. William and Thomas HUNTER are the only surviving Lives in this Lease.
This Lease reserves to the Landlord all Royalties, Franchises, Waifs, Estrays, Deodands,
and all Timber and Timber Trees, Ores, Mines, Minerals, Coal, C__ and Quarries. with
liberty to hawk, hunt, fish, and fowl.
23 James CANNIFFE (?) Lease dated 1st March, 1822, from Henry Earl of Shannon to Johanna CANNIFFE, for Three
Reps. of Johanna Lives and 21 Years from the death of the survivor, one of whom, Benjamin THOMAS, then
CANNIFFE aged 15 years, is still living. By this Lease all Mines, Minerals, and other Royalties
Coal, Culm, and Slated, and all Pits and Quarries, and all Waters, Watercourses, Ponds
or Drains of Water, are reserved to the Landlords. There is a small Garden at the rere
attached to this holding.
24 Charles CROWLEY Yearly Tenancy determinable on the 25th March ... There are five Houses on this Lot,
valued by Griffith at £12 10s.
25 Samuel Jason BURCHELL Lease dated 1st January, 1826, from Henry Earl of Shannon to Samuel Jason BURCHELL, for
the Lives of William BENNETT, then aged 11 years; Jason BURCHELL, then aged 10 (?) years;
and Samuel BURCHELL, then aged 7 years, and the survivor of them; and for 21 Years to
commence from the death of the survivor of the said Lives. All the Lives in this Lease
are still in being.
26 Thomas BENNETT Leased dated 20th January, 1826, from Henry Earl of Shannon to Thomas BENNETT, for the
Lives of William BENNETT, then aged 16 years; Thomas BENNETT, then aged 11 years; and James
HAMILTON, then aged 6 years; and for 21 Years from the death of the survivor of them. Thomas
BENNETT and James HAMILTON are the only surviving Lives in this Lease. By this Lease all Royalties,
Franchises, Waifs, Estrays, Deodands, and all Timber, Ores, Mines, Minerals, and Quarries, with
liberty of ingress and egress, are reserved to the Landlord; and also reserves a Public Passage
of 7 feet wide, and 7½ feet high, through the demised Premises from the street to where the well
of water then was.

SHANNON STREET Consisting of another portion of Shannon-street, in the Town of Bandon
27 John SHINE Lease dated 20th April, 1837 from Henry Earl of Shannon to John SHINE, for the Lives of William
HUNTER, then aged about 32 years; John HUNTER, aged about 30 years; and William SHINE, then aged
about 16 years; and for 21 Years from the death of the survivor of them. John HUNTER is the only
survivor of them. John HUNTER is the only surviving Life in this Lease. By this Lease all Royalties,
Franchises, Waifs, Estrays, Deodands, and all Timber and Timber Trees, Ores, Mines, Minerals, Coal,
Culm, and Quarries, with liberty to hunt, hawk, fish, and fowl, are reserved to the Landlord.
28 John De COURCEY, Reps. Lease dated 10th May, 1823 from Henry Earl of Shannon to George CORNWALL, for the Lives of Denis
of George CORNWALL GALLIVAN, then aged 12 years; Richard De COURCEY, and John de COURCEY, then aged respectively 12
and 7 years; and 34 (?) Years from the death of the survivor of them. Richard De COURCEY is dead;
the other Lives are still in being. This Lease contains similar covenants and reservations to the
preceding Lease.
29 George BENNETT Lease dated 20th January, 1826 (?), from Henry Earl of Shannon to George BENNETT for the Lives of
Joseph HANLEY, then aged 20 (?) years; James HAMILTON, then aged 18 years, and Andrew HAYES then
aged about 9 years; with 21 Years from the death of the survivor of them. James HAMILTON and Andrew
HAYES are still living. ...similar convents...
30 Julia (?) MURPHY Reps. Lease date 1st September 1822, from Henry Earl of Shannon to Edward MURPHY, for the Lives of Johanna
of Edward MURPHY MURPHY, then aged 4 years; Timothy CROWLEY (?), then aged 7 years; and Jason BURCHELL, then aged 6 years;
and for 21 Years from the death of the survivor of them; and contains similar reservations to the
preceding Leases. All the Lives in this Lease are still in being.
31 {John SHINE, Shannon St. Lease dated 20th March, 1824, from Henry Earl of Shannon to John SHINE, for the lives of William SHINE
{John Shine, Boyle St. then aged about 1 year; and William HUNTER and John HUNTER, then aged respectively 19 and 18 years; and
for 21 Years from the death of the survivor of them at the Yearly rent of £5 5s 6d late Currency. ...
William SHINE and William HUNTER are living.
32 Timothy SULLIVAN Lease dated 20th September, 1823, from Henry Earl of Shannon to Timothy SULLIVAN, for the Lives of
Richard ALLMAN, then aged 11 (?) years; Thomas Beggs LANE and James LANE then aged respectively
13 and 11 years; and for 31 Years from the death of the survivor of them. All the Lives in this Lease
are still in being.
33 William HUNTER Reps. Lease dated 24th March 1825 from Henry Earl of Shannon to John HUNTER, for the Lives of William HUNTER,
of John HUNTER then aged 20 years; John HUNTER, then aged 19 (?) years; and Thomas HUNTER, then aged 14 years and for
31 Years from the death of the survivor of them. John HUNTER is dead; the other Lives are in being.
34 Hannah HARDING Lease dated 10th September, 1824 from Henry Earl of Shannon to John DUGGAN, for the Lives of Elizabeth
BELCHER, then aged about 28 years; Herbert SULLIVAN, then aged about 11 years; and Thomas BENNETT, then
aged about 10 years; and for 31 Years from the death of the survivor of them Elizabeth BELCHER is dead;
the other Lives are still in being.
35 Benjamin THOMAS Lease dated 24th September, 1825, from Henry Earl of Shannon to Benjamin THOMAS, for the Lives of Richard
THOMAS, then aged 15 years; Nicholas THOMAS, then aged 6 years; and Samuel BURCHELL, then aged 7 years;
and for 31 Years from the death of the survivor of them. All the Lives in the Lease are still in being.
36 Elizabeth JENKINS Lease dated Nov. 1821, from Henry Earl of Shannon to Henry JENKINS, for the Lives of Henry JENKINS, for
Reps. of Henry JENKINS the Lives of John NASH, then aged 9 years; William SULLIVAN, then aged 8 years; and John SHINE then aged
15 years; and for 21 Years from the death of the survivor of them. John SHINE is the only surviving Life
in this Lease. By an endorsement on this Lease it ws agreed that the reversionary term was to be 31 Years
instead of 21 Years.
37 Edward QUINLAN, Reps. Lease dated 10th September, 1821, from Henry Earl of Shannon to Cornelius DONOVAN, for the Lives of Peter
of Cornelius DONOVAN MURRAY, then aged 11 years; Peter FAIR, then aged 8 years; and Charles HALES, then aged 8 years; and for
21 Years from the death of the survivor of them ... Peter MURRAY is the only surviving Life in this Lease.
38 Henry GALWAY, Reps. Lease dated 10th May, 1821, from Henry Earl of Shannon to Michael GALWAY, for the Lives of Michael GALWAY,
of Michael GALWAY then aged 19 years; Bryan GALWAY, then aged 12 years; and Charles GALWAY, then aged 11 years; and for 21
Years from the death of the survivor of them. All these Lives are still in being. ...agreed that the
reversionary term should be 31 Years instead of 21 Years.
This Lot lies at the South side of Shannon-street, commencing at Fox-street, and consists of good substantial Dwelling-Houses
erected by the Tenants. The Tenants are all respectable and solvent.
