					OBSERVATIONS

Lease of 23rd March 1698 made by Edward RIGGS TO John NASH [ancestor of present owner] for 300 years
from 1st May 1698, with covenant for RIGGS, of the Manor of RIGGS to grind his corn and grain to be
spent on the premises during said term at the MILL or MILLS - whenever same should be erected.

The MILL works three pairs of stones, capable of [processing] 3.000 barrels of corn.  The Mill and Stores
are in good working order.  The Mansion House is picturesquely situated near the Brinny river. The Timber
is principally old and valuable, but as ornamental only. The young plantations containing Oak, Ash and Fir
timber of about 18 years growth as very promising and healthy.
