of SPILLANE for several years, was originally let as a
mountain lot, of little value, but it has become valuable by
his industry, and shews what may be done by similar means on
the worst part of this estate.

6 SKAWBEG In occupation of Daniel On this Lot is a comfortable and commodious dwelling-house,
Bartholomew FOLEY with offices, and a garden, well enclosed. The purchaser will
be entitled to immediate possession of this Lot on the execution
of his conveyance.
By Indenture, dated 20th February, 1840, James DENNIS, of the Temple, in the city of London, Esq.,
Barrister-at-Law, demised unto Daniel Bartholomew FOLOEY, Esq., one of the Owners in this matter,
one field, containing two acres and ten perches, being part of the lands of Skawbeg, in the south
Liberties of the city Cork, bounded as therein for the term of 820 years, from the 1st day of May
then last past, at the annual rent of £8 12s. 4d., payable in even portions on the 25th March and
29th September in each year ; and the lease contains a covenant to deliver up Premises in good repair,
and a proviso for surrender at the end of any three years on six months previous notice.
