This premises are held under a lease, dated the 18th day of January, 1780, made by Sir Nathaniel BARRY to Mathew
MALONE, for the term of 999 years, from the 29th day of September, 1779, at the yearly rent of Seven Guineas. The
premises in said lease are described as follows:â€""All that the House, Tenement, and Garden, in Maypole-road, containing,
by estimation, one English acre, or thereabouts, be the same more or less, commonly called and known by the name of Maypole
House, situate, lying, and being in the Liberties of the City of Cork, and in as large and ample a manner as the same
was lately held by Richard ASHE and his undertenants, and as the same was then held by the said Mathew MALONE.
