IRELAND FOR EACH MONTH DURING THE YEAR 1841. GIVING NAME, DATE OF INQUEST,
WHERE HELD, AND FINDING OF EACH INQUIRY.

Note: "VISITATION FROM GOD" was a death where the cause was unknown.

*TOGARTY, Joan, on the 6th Sept., by visitation of God.

BARRY, Pat, on the 2nd Dec., at Islands, by visitation of God.

BRADY, James, 17th May, at Tomgreany, visitation of God.

BURKE, Bridget, on the 5th Nov., at Benvoran, fall from a car on the road.

CARMODY, Thomas, on the 8th Dec., at Kilrush, accidentally drowned.

CLARE, Denis, on the 25th June, at Kilmacreehy, visitation of God.

CLOHERAN, Michael, on the 20th Dec., at Trough, died from exposure to the cold
under influence of other depressing causes.

COLLOPY, Edward, 7th April, Ennistymore, dropsy, death accelerated by an
improper operation by a quack.

CONNELL, Margaret, on the 6th June, at Ennis Gaol, burnt, having accidentally
fallen into a boiler of hot water.

CONSIDINE, Anthony, on the 13th Nov., at Ennis Infirmary, accidental death.

CULLINAN, Mary, 30th Jan. at Monemore, falling out of a car onto the road.

DALY, Mary, on the 5th of April, at Newmarket, died by visitation of God.

DOLAN, Rose, on the 3rd Jan., at Kilrush, visitation of God.

DRISCOLL, Pat, on the 15th June, at Carrandoly, killed by the falling of a flag
on him, which fractured his head.

DWYER, Catherine, on the 24th Jan, at Ennis Gaol, died by visitation of God.

ENRIGHT, Margaret, 18th March, at Newtown, drowned by the upsetting of a canoe.

ENRIGHT, Murly, 22nd March, at Newtown, drowned by the upsetting of a canoe.

ENRIGHT, Peter, 18th March, at Newtown, drowned by the upsetting of a canoe.

EUSTACE, Richard, on the 14th July, at Kilmichael, homicide, by a riotous mob in
Ennis.

FOLEY, Catherine, 27th July, at Clonygarnane, by visitation of God.

GARDNER, Terence, on the 31st Dec., at Kilrush, by visitation of God.

GARVEY, James on the 3rd Nov., at Derraragh, died from the cold and effects of
drinking spirits to excess.

GERAGHTY, Mary, on the 17th Nov., at Ennis, burnt, by her clothes taking fire.

GRACE, Pat, 21st Feb. Kilkehen, found drowned in Cullane Lake.

GRADY, Denis, on the 17th August, at Gragg, died from an accidental injury from
a car.

HAMILTON, John, on the 14th Dec., at Killaloe, by visitation of God.

HANEEN, Michael, on the 14th June, at Ballycar, by visitation of God.

HASTINGS, Edmund, on the 22nd May, at Clonmoney, drowned escaping from a boat.

HEHIR, Johanna, 2nd June, at Ballymacashil, mortification of the leg, caused by
an accidental injury.

HEHIR, John, on the 4th August, at Dromcorna, died by congestion of the brain,
cannot say cause.

HELIN, Margaret, on the 2nd April, at Wellpark, died by suicide, by hanging,
temporary insanity.

HURLY, Pat, on the 12th August, at Kilrush, died by visitation of God.

HURLY, Pat, on the 23rd Dec., at Dunbeg, died by visitation of God.

JOURDAN, Anne, on the 13th Jan. at Ennistymon, homicide, by T. O'Connor and T.
Davies.

KEAN, Robert, 18th March, at Newtown, drowned by the upsetting of a canoe.

KELLY, Catherine, on the 21st August, at Newtown, died from the retention of the
after-birth.

KELLY, Mary, 22nd March, at Dough, burnt by her clothes taking fire.

KEOGH, Thomas, on the 23rd May, at Druradigus, found drowned in a bog-hole.

LEAHY, Bridget, on the 8th June, at Corbally, killed from a fall from a cliff.

LLOYD, Thomas, on the 27th Sept., at Kilmurry Glebe, killed by the upsetting of
his gig.

M'CORMAC, John, on the 25th Sept., Ballydumeen, died from the falling of a
barrel on him from a car.

M'GRATH, John, on the 29th March, at *Teacle, died from natural causes.

M'GRATH, Mary, 16th March, at *Teacle, died from natural causes.

M'GRATH, Norry, on the 29th March, at *Teacle, died from arsenic found in her
stomach, no means of ascertaining by whom administered.

M'MAHON, Andrew, 18th Sept., at Parkroe, homicide by James O'Brien.

M'MAHON, Ellen, on the 24th Sept, at Ennistymore, by visitation of God.

MACNAMARA, Thomas, 29th March, at Dough, died from inflammation of the bowels
and stomach.

MALONE, James, on the 25th March, at Tomgreaney, found drowned, by upsetting of
a boat.

MEER, James, on the 30th June, at *Lahinsy, drowned accidentally.

MURPHY, Robert, 6th April, at Ennis, died from intoxication.

O'CONNOR, Bridget, on the 28th May, at Gurtaganiff, visitation of God.

O'CONNOR, Mary, on the 12th Sept, at Kilshanny, visitation of God.

O'DEA, John, on the 18th May, at Drumcat, accidentally drowned.

O'LOGHLIN, Thomas, on the 28th June, at Ballysheen, drowned accidentally.

O'LOUGHLIN, Michael, 13th March, Rathanisky, Purging, caused by improper
application of ointment by a quack.

ROWLAND, Ellen, 27th Feb. Clonfurush, burnt by her clothes taking fire.
