Extracted from her Majesty's Court of Prerogative in Ireland
I Elizabeth Adams alias Lyster Relict of Richard Adams late 
of Drummolton in the County of Cavan Esqr being of sound and 
disposing mind and memory do publish and declare this as and 
for my last Will and Testament in manner and form following 
that is to say whereas I am entitled to a reversionary 
interest in the sum of five hundred pounds sterling on the 
decease of my Mother Mrs Letitia Lyster of Scion in the 
County of Wexford now I give devise and bequeath the said 
sum of five hundred pounds to my Cousin Miss Catherine 
Lyster of George Street Wexford Upon trust for the uses and 
purposes hereinafter mentioned that is to say to lay out at 
interest either in the Government securities or in good and 
solvent private security the said sum of five hundred pounds 
and apply the use and proceeds thereof to the use and 
benefit of my daughter Elizabeth and if the interest thereof 
together with what she is entitled to under her father's 
Will should not be sufficient and adequate for the purposes 
of making her comfortable I hereby empower and authorize the 
said Catherine Lyster to use her discretion in sinking 
forever the aforesaid sum to procure a largwr income during 
the life of the said Elizabeth Adams to be applied solely 
for the use of the said Elizabeth but in case the said 
Elizabeth should happen to die before the said sum was 
expended and sunk forever or that the interest and proceeds 
of said sum be found to be adequate for the purposes before 
mentioned then in such case I give devise and bequeath the 
said sum on the decease of my daughter Elizabeth to be 
divided share and share alike between my Children Letitia 
Thomasine Adams Wm Adams Martha Adams & Anne Jane Adams and 
in case any of my aforesaid children shall happen to die 
before he or she or they shall attain the age of twenty one 
years or be married then I give devise and bequeath the 
proportion of such child or children so happening to die to 
be divided share and share alike amongst my surviving 
Children aforesaid mentioned I give devise and bequeath to 
my eldest Allen Noble Adams all my plate and plated ware to 
be given to him on his attaining the age of twenty one years 
and until then to be used by the family in common but not to 
be separated Item I give and bequeath to my said son Allen 
Noble his father's watch I give devise and bequeath to my 
daughter Letitia Thomasine my own watch I hereby nominate 
constitute and appoint Catherine Lyster aforesaid sole 
trustee and executor of this my last Will and Testament with 
a power of appointing any other person or persons to carry 
my intentions herein expressed into execution either by any 
common letter or her Will and Testament in writing if she 
should not happen to survive the death of my said Mother In 
witness hereof I have hereunto put my hand and seal and 
published and declared this as for my last Will and 
Testament in the presence of the Witnesses this 22nd day of
