DEATHS: A RETURN OF INQUESTS - 1841

A return of inquests held by several coroners of the
counties and cities of Ireland for each month during the
year 1841. Giving name, date of inquest, where held, and
finding of each inquiry.

Taken from the British Parliamentary Papers on Ireland.
Note: "visitation from God" was a death where the cause was
unknown.

BEARNEY, Catherine, 3rd March, at Templeowen, died by being
accidentally burnt.

BOE, Timothy, 22nd Oct., Seskin, death from apoplexy.

BYRNE, James, 21st May, Bagenalstown, accidentally drowned.

FITZSIMONS, Miles, 16th Sept., Carlow, died from apoplexy,
while under the influence of liquor.

HAYDEN, John, 17th July, at Carlow, accidentally drowned.

HENNESSY, James, 10th Dec. at Bagenalstown, death from
falling into a pool of water during an attack of apoplexy.

HUGHES, Maria, 30th March, at Kellistown, accidentally
killed by a long stone falling on her chest.

KAVANAGH, Kerns, on the 15th Dec., at Kilbride, died from
accidentally falling into a well.

KEARNEY, Thomas, 25th Jan, at Killimaglush, died by
visitation of God.

KINSELLA, Thomas, 28th Dec., Eagle Hill, died by visitation
of God.

LEGATE, Mary, 20th Nov. at Ardristan, died accidentally,
from being scalded in a tub of boiling water.

MAHER, Patrick, 9th August, Old Leighlin, by visitation of
God.

MULDOWNEY, Francis, 15th May, at Carlow, died by being
accidentally killed by a horse running away, and throwing
deceased out of a car.

SMYTH, William, 17th July, Carlow, accidentally drowned.

THORP, John, on the 7th April, at Grange, died by visitation
of God.

WALSH, Jane, 28th Oct, at Carlow, died from suffocation.

WALSH, Matthew, 28th Oct, at Carlow, died from suffocation.
