BALLYCARRY CHURCHYARD. PARISH OF BALLYCORRAN
"From Mr. W.F. Reynolds of Belfast"

Neare this lyeth the body of that faithfull emenent seruant of God,
Mr. Edward Brice, who begun preaching of the gospele in this parish
1613 continueing with quiet succes while 1636 in wh he
dyed aged 67 & left two sons & two daughters. His son Robert Brice,
Esqre after acquiring a
fortune dyed in Dublin 22 ov Novbr 1676 aged 63 & left 3 sons & 3
daughters; his eldest son Rondall Brice, Esqr, dyed in Dublin a
member of parleament for Lisbvrne ye 8 of Sepbr 1697 aged 51 & left
two sons & two daughters.

Here lyeth the body of Ma John Feer who departed this life Oct 3d
1776 aged 85 years. Here lyeth the body of Marey Feer who departed
this life April the 22th 1749 aged 10 years.

Here lyeth the body of John Clark who departed this life 6th May
1780 aged 66 years : also his son, Alexander who departed this life
20th Aug 1790 aged 37 years.

Here lyeth ye bodies of George Woodside who died Oct ye 28th 1730
aged 70 years: also his wife Marren Bowman who died Feb ye 9th 1751
aged 94 years & his son John died Oct ye 11th 1736 aged 46 aged 46
years & David Booll died May ye 26 1752 aged 3 years.

Here lyeth the body of Samuel Hay who died Jany 21st 1780 aged 72
years : also his wife Mary Ferres who died July 1st 1767 aged 54
years : also their son James Hay who died 10th Jan 1811 aged 64 years.

Here lyeth the body of Thomas McCleery who departed this life December
ye 20 1776 after living in peace & unanimity 84 years with his brethren
of men which we hope will be manifested by the Lord of the Hosts.

Here lyeth the body of Sarah Brynan wife of Robt Torbet who departed
this life Nov the 11th 1757 aged 64 years : also Robert Torbet hir
[sic] husband who departed this life Asut [sic] the 16th 1766 aged 77 years.

Here lyeth the body of Robert Giles who departed this life April
22nd 1770 aged 78 years.
