Thomas Family Graveyard, The Mall, Killeshin

This Family Graveyard is situated on Mr. Eddie Watters's land, opposite the Mall in Killeshin.

 Thanks to Willie Farrell, Bilboa, Michael Brennan, Killeshin and Eddie Watters for their assistance here.

Only three small headstones are in existence as follows:

Thomas - Elizabeth Idona Thomas born 14th Nov, 1812, died 31st Dec, 1894 eldest daughter of Rev. Robert Taylor M. A., Eector of Clifton Campville, Staffordshire, Widow of Lieutenant General Henry Thomas, Colonel of the XX Regiment.

Thomas -  Jocelyn Henry W. Thomas, born 26th Sept. 1830, died 21st Oct. 1879 Husband of Mary Wilhelmina Thomas only son of Lieutenant General Henry Thomas C.B. and Elizabeth Idona Thomas your grandson died 3rd Jan 1974.

Thomas – Wife of  Jocelyn H. W. Thomas, Belmont, Carlow. Mary Wilhelmina Thomas born 4th Sept 1847 died 24th Jan 1910  second dauter of Sir Georg Nugent Bart. of West Harling Hall, Norfolk.
