The following is a copy of a letter sent to the Lord Chancellor by Mr Richard P. McDonald, Coroner for the County Carlow ----

Tinypark, Carlow. July 21st 1920.

My Lord -- As a protest against the brutal, stupid, and unconstitutional manner in which England is attempting to govern this country, I hereby resign my Commission of the Peace for the counties of Carlow and Wicklow
