July 15th 1857 on Mary McErny, at Nenagh Gaol. Dr. Frith. Verdict-a
lunatic, died in Nenagh Gaol from epilepsy. Reported by the
Constabulary.
July 18th on Catherine Kennedy, at Merton, Lower Ormond. Dr. McGarvey.
Verdict-Found dead in her bed, we believe by apoplexy. Reported by the
Constabulary.
Aug. 4th. on Bridget Hayes at Nenagh, Lower Ormond. Dr. Cahalan. A
lunatic, died in Nenagh Goal from natural causes. Reported by the
constabulary.
Aug. 8th. on Margaret Carey, at Newtown, Barony of Owney and Arra, Dr.
Quinn. Verdict-Died from a solution of hemlock which was found in her
stomach, Reported by the constabulary.
Aug. 12th. on Joseph Falkiner, at Rodeen, Barony of Lower Ormond. Dr.
McGarvey. Verdict-Killed by a cow, his own property.Reported by the
constabulary.
Aug. 17th, on William Carroll, at Boherleigh, Lower Ormond, Dr.
McGarvey. Verdict-Died form injuries received by his clothes having
caught fire. Reported by the constabulary.
Aug. 19th. on Edward Gleeson, at Garryard, Upper Ormond. Dr. McKeogh.
Verdict-Killed by having accidentally fallen down a shaft at mine
works. Reported by the constabulary.
Aug. 29th. on Bridget Kennedy, at Touher, Upper Ormond. Dr. McKeogh.
Found dead in her bed, supposed from natural causes. Reported by the
constabulary.
Sept. 29th. on David Hayes at Nenagh, Lower ormond. Dr.
Frith.Verdict-Died in Nenagh Gaol from congestion of the brain.

Oct. 29th on Patrick Kennedy, at Riverstown, Lower Ormond. Dr.
A.W.Wallace. Verdict-Killed by the accidental upsetting of a cart.
