Situated left at the Bridge at the end of the town this cemetery sits on a hill over looking the River Boyle.
 

  Estersnow

Estersnow Cemetery
Croghan, Boyle, County Roscommon, Ireland
To reach the cemetery, take the Roscommon Rd. from Boyle for about 2 miles. Turn left at the sign for Crogan. About 2 miles further passed the animal farm take the first turn left. The graveyard is on a corner of that road.

  Kilcooley

Kilcooley Cemetery, Kilcooley, Tulsk, County Roscommon, Ireland. This cemetery is on an unlisted road between Strokestown and Tulsk Village. It is not signposted but can be seen from the main road from Strokestown.

  Kilnamanagh

Kilnamanagh Cemetery, Boyle, County Roscommon, Ireland
Take the R.361 from Frenchpark to Boyle. Turn left at Breedoge onto the road to Ballinvoher. Take the next left turn on that road to Kilnamanagh Cemetery. It is on a hill and not signposted from roadway.

  Kiltrustan

Kiltrustan Cemetery, Strokestown, County Roscommon, Ireland. To reach the cemetery, take a right turn of the R.368 after the school in Strokestown onto a minor rd. in the Lavelly direction. Travel along this road until you reach Moygloss cross. Keep going straight ahead passed Saint Patrick Church. Kiltrustan Cemetery is on the left hand side of the roadway past the school. It is on an old ruined church site.

  Old_Shankill

Old Shankill Cemetery, Shankill, County Roscommon, Ireland. Take a right turn at the post office in Elphin. Travel for about 2 miles. This cemetery is at a crossroad and though not signposted can be seen from the road.

  Strokestown

Strokestown Cemetery, Strokestown, County Roscommon, Ireland. Take a left turn at the Post Office onto the Clonfree Rd. The cemetery can be seen from the road.
This cemetery was opened in 1828 and is just outside the town of Strokestown.

Appeal: There are hundreds of cemeteries waiting to be transcribed before the stones become too weathered to be readable. A terrible loss. It will take hundreds of volunteers from all over Ireland to transcribe these stones. We can do this. To volunteer, please contact admin.
