Ballykinlar Prison Book

Scanned pages of a book assembled in 1921 by prisoners at Ballykinlar Prison and read the touching story behind the book.

Martin Walton was interned in Ballykinlar prison camp.
He shared a prison ship to Belfast with Sean Lemass, later to be Teasiogh, and Peader Kearney, co-composer of the Irish national anthem, with whom he became great friends.
