
Newry Town Hall (built in 1893 by the old Newry Town Commissioners. Designed by William Batt. The Clanrye river is part of the border line between Co Down and Co Armagh. The Town Hall was built on this river so that it would not be in any one county, as there was a dispute by people of both counties as on which county the hall should be built.
