Visit to Ireland 1903 Medal
(A.S. P. Lawler R.I.C.), Acting Sergeant Patrick Lawler was a 20
year old farmer from Carlow, when he was recommended for appointment by Head
Constable Dillon on 2 October 1885. He served in Counties Armagh, Leitrim,
Kilkenny, and Waterford. He was made Paid Acting Sergeant in 1900 and Paid
Sergeant in 1906. He was fined 5 shillings in 1888 for some misdemeanour and
was pensioned off on 27 June 1918.
