In the most holy name of Jesus | pray for the soul of | Very Rev JAMES
DOWLING P.P.V.F. | Whose remains are here interred | For more than 40
years Pastor of | the United Parishes of Clonmellon & Killallon | died
on 6th June 1884 | aged 86 | On whose soul sweet Jesus have mercy | We
have loved him in life let us not forget him after death until | we have
conducted him by our prayers to the eternal tabernacles | St Ambrose |

Sacred heart of Jesus | have mercy on the soul of | Rev. WILLIAM HEALY
P.P. | who died 28th April 1922 | In grateful remembrance of his labours
| amongst them for 26 years | The parishioners of Clonmellon & Killallon
