1 House, Out-offices, large Store, Yard & Garden Reps. Of Mrs. Johanna RYAN Lease dated 13th January, 1836, from Henry Whitby BRISCOE, the owner, to Patrick RYAN, for the term of the lives of John RYAN, Michael RYAN, and Thomas LALOR, or 61 years from the 29th Sept. 1835. Covenant that the said Patrick RYAN shall be allowed the cost of two extra feet of the wall of the house then taken by him, and said house to be built by the lessee according to agreement before the 25th March 1837, with liberty to set and let said house and premises, but not to alienate same except to one of his own children by marriage. Said Michael RYAN, aged 26, years and Thomas LALOR, aged 35 years, two of the cestui qui vies therein named, are alive. The premises are therein described as the house then lately in the possession of Walter SHEA, situate in New-street, Carrick-on-Suir, with the back yard and all the other edifices and back garden thereunto attached, to the rere of said house, and bounded therein.
2 House Mrs. Johanna RYAN Lease dated 28th July, 1841, from Henry Whitby BRISCOE, the owner, to Patrick RYAN, for the term of the life of said Patrick RYAN, who died in or about 10th May, 1848, and a further term of 60 years to be computed from the day of his death. The premises are therein described as the house in which the said Pat. RYAN then resided, with the back yard, garden and concerns thereto belonging, situate in New street, in the town of Carrick-on-Suir, and bounded as therein.
3 House, yard, garden & out-offices Edmond BROWNE Lease dated 6th March, 1826, from Henry Whitby BRISCOE to John FITZPATRICK, for the term of the lives of Henry Whitby BRISCOE, James WALL, and James FITZPATRICK, or 61 years from March, 1826. The said Henry Whitby BRISCOE, now aged 45 years, and James WALL now aged 52 years, are still alive. The premises thereby demised are described as the dwelling-house and back concerns on which the said John FITZPATRICK then resided.
4 House & Yard Edmond BROWNE An accepted proposal for a lease dated 29th Sept. 1854, signed by Edmond BROWNE and Henry Whitby BRISCOE, Esq. For the term said Edward BROWNE holds his holding in New-street, with an undertaking to pay all poor rates, county cess, income tax, and what ever tax shall be imposed on said house during the term of the lease. Note- the term of this tenant's holding in New-street are the lives of Henry W. BRISCOE, now aged 45 years, James WALL, aged 52 years, and James FITZPATRICK, since deceased, or 61 years from the 25th March, 1826. The premises are lately in the possession of John STAPLETON

8 House & Yard Mrs. Honora CARROLL Lease dated 2nd August, 1797, from Henry BRISCOE to John BENTLEY, now aged 64 years, and of Wm. MOORE & John ROURKE, both deceased, at the yearly rent of £7 2s. 9d. Late currency, but the tenant has only paid £6 per annum for many years. The premises are therein described as a slateed house, situate facing the East on New -street leading to the green of Carrick, containing in length 28 ft 6 inches, in depth 121 ft 2 inches, bounded as therein.
9 House & Yard Mrs. Mary POWER Tenancy from week to week, determinable on Saturday in each week.
10 House, Out-Offices & extensive Stores and Yard Edmond O'Halloran Lease dated 29th August, 1786, from Henry BRISCOE to John WELLS and Stephen WELLS, for the terms of 999 years from 25th March, 1779, at the yearly rent of £10 late currency. The premises are therein described as three houses and tenements, with the back yards, tan yard, and appurtenances thereunto belonging, and formerly held by Mrs. Mary CANTWELL, and then in the occupation of said John & Stephen WELLS, and bounded as therein; and also that part of Thomas TOOLS, holdings, then in the occupation of said John WELLS, and which adjoins said last mentioned holdings. These premises, with Nos. 43 & 49 Greenside, are one concern.
11 House & Yard William GAULE An agreement for a lease dated 19th April, 1848, executed by Henry Whitby BRISCOE, Esq. And siad Wm. GAULE, for the term of the life of said Wm. GAULE, now aged 38 years, or 31 years from 1st May, 1848. The premises are described as the concerns in New-street as lately held by James CASEY.
12 House & Garden & extensive out-offices Thomas Bennett WILSON, Esq. A fee-farm grant made under the provisions of the Renewable Leasehold Conversion Act, by Henry Whitby BRISCOE, Esq., and dated 15th August, 1855. The premises are therein described as the dwelling house & yard and garden behind said house, extending from said house to the town wall formerly in the tenure of John DANIEL and his widow, and bounded as therein
13 House & large garden The Rev. Francis O'NEILL Held under a fee-farm grant dated 27 November. 1852, from Henry W. BRISCOE to the Rev. Francis O'NEILL, executed under the provisions of the Renewable Lease-hold Conversion Act, and the premises are therein described as the house and garden formerly in the possession of John BAKER and his under-tenants formerly and John O'NEILL once held the same
14 Houses and garden Mrs. E. BRANIGAN Lease dated 16th day of June, 1752, from Edw. BRISCOE to Robert BAKER, for three lives with covenant for perpetual renewal, on payment of a pepper-corn fine on the fall of each life, at the yearly rent of 3l. Late currency, and which premises are therein described as the houses that the said Robert BAKER was then building in New-street. The last renewal made by Henry BRISCOE to Ursula BAKER, dated Sept. 1809, is for the term of the lives of Richd. BRANIGAN and Elizabeth his daughter, both since dead, and Elizabeth BRANIGAN his widow, now aged 60 years.
15 Houses & yard Mrs. E. BRANIGAN Lease dated 30th April, 1774, from John BRISCOE to Robert BAKER, for three lives, with covenent for perpetual renewal on payment of a pepper-corn fine, at the yearly rent of 4. Late currency. The last renewal from Henry BRISCOE to Ursula BAKER is dated Sept. 1809, and is for the term of the lives of Richard BRANIGAN and Elizabeth BRANIGAN his widow, aged about 60 years. The premises are described as the slated house in New-street, then in the possession of Robert BAKER, and bounded as therein.
16 House and gardens John WALL Fee-farm grant dated 29th day of January, 1856, made under the provision of the Renewable Leasehold Conversion Act, by H.W. BRISCOE, Esq., the owner in the Matter, to John WALL, of certain premises adjoining Cregg-road, in the barony of Iffa and Offa East, and County of Tipperary; and of premesis in the town of Carrick-on-Suir, in the like barony and county, at the yearly Fee-farm rent of £21 10s 2d., of which said rent the sum of £12 18s. 6d. has been charged by the said grant in respect of the premises in this No., and which are herein described as the house, holding or tenement, together with the outhouse, offices, back yard, and garden, thereunto belonging, as same were, in the year 1771, held and enjoyed by John BRADSHAW.
