The newspaper contains a number of warrants by the Lord Lieutenant authorizing payments of the following sums as compensation under the Crimes Acts for murder and personal injuries. Mayo. £450 to Michael Feerick, for the murder of his son David Feerick, on the 20th June 1880, at Ballinarobe, Co. Mayo. £130 to Bridget Connell, of Coolaght, Co. Mayo, for personal injuries received on the night of 17th July 1882. £200 to David Freehilly, of Bracklinboy, Co. Mayo, for the murder of his son on the 14th Feb. 1882. £500 to John Dillon, of Cumacarta, in the County Mayo for the murder of his son on the 17th or 18th Nov. 1881. _________________________
