The Limerick Leader 27 May 1901

Funeral of Mr Steward
On Friday night the remains of the late Mr Steward, trainer to Limerick 
Boat Club, were removed from his residence in Lower Mallow Street to St 
Munchins Church, where they remained overnight. The interment took place 
on Saturday. A large number of members of the Limerick Boat Club and Shannon 
Rc accompanied the remains to St. Munchins.
