Margaret DAVIS,shown ca. 1865 was from Galway, Ireland. She was born ca. 1842
and emigrated to the United States, date unknown. Family tradition states that
she attended Normal School in Lynn, Massachusetts, USA for a time. She married
Edward METCALF, Sr. c. 1864 and lived in Shullsburg, Lafayette County,
Wisconsin, USA until her death on 20 Mar 1915. She was buried in Evergreen
Cemetery in Shullsburg. She was the mother of five sons and six daughters.

Additional Comments:
Margaret DAVIS was my paternal great-grandmother.
