Rental of certain Premises called the SWORD BEARER'S CLOSE, now known as
BROOKLODGE, situate in the Barony of Imokilly, and County of Cork, formerly the
North Liberties of Youghal, containing 5a. 1r. 25p., Statute Measure, of
thereabouts, held under a Lease for three lives, renewable for ever; but the
same will be conveyed to the Purchaser in Fee-farm, under the Commissioners'
Conversion Order.

TENURE BY WHICH TENANTS HOLD
Lease dated 18th December, 1786, from William MANNIX, the elder, to David
FREEMAN, of a dwelling-house, orchard, two fields and garden, then lately in the
tenancy of John BROWNE, farmer, and also the cabin or tenement, and strip of
ground in the rere thereof, then occupied by said BROWNE, the whole state to
contain, by estimation, 4 Statute acres, more or less, and to be situate near
Muckridge, in the North Liberties of Youghal, known by the name of the Sword
Bearer's Close, in as full manner as the said William MANNIX held the same under
the Corporation of Youghal for the term of three lives, renewable for ever upon
payment of £2 17s. 6d., then currency, as a renewal fine on the fall of each
life, at the yearly rent of £16 10s., like currency. The last renewal of said
lease, which bears date the 14th day of said lease, which bears date the 14th
day of March, 1840, was made by Charlotte MANNIX to the said Reverend Pierce
William DREW, for the lives of said Pierce William DREW, Matilda Rouena DREW,
hen (sic) aged 17 years, eldest daughter of said lessee, and Henry Brougham
DREW, aged 8 years, eldest son of said lessee.

OBSERVATIONS:
The counterpart of this lease, and renewal, are forthcoming, and will be handed
to the purchaser. Henry Brougham DREW, one of the lives named in the last
renewal, is dead.
