Inscriptions on Tombstones in Templepeter Cemetery

Famine Headstone Erected by Michael Murphy of Carlow
 over the graves of his fourteen children.

Inscripton:

MURPHY Children

Erected By Michael Murphy of Carlow to mark the last resting place of five of his beloved children; Ellenor died 28 December 1847 aged 4 years. Michael died 6 January 1848 aged 2 years; Maryanne died 12 May 1849 aged 2 months; Jeremiah died December 1849 aged 7 years; Also 9 of his children.
And at the base of the headstones sits a small white angel
