[Note added 2010. We are unsure of the provenance of the following document, it appears to be based on the promise of a division of land to men who served in the Irish Republican Army during the troubles.

Some are countersigned by Pat Purcell.

There are 108 forms in total, historians who have viewed them are puzzled by the content, they may be unique to Carlow?

Application forms for Land 1934 + Sean Oglaigh na h-Eireann.

In 1934 Sean Oglaigh na h-Eireann had an address at 3 Davis Street, Tipperary, the secretary was Con Maloney.

According to a letter dated 1935 from Con Maloney the total membership was 1,335 forming 66 Companies. 49 members were registered in Carlow at this time.
